The Nottingham Boys Choir did a great job tonight singing at an Evensong in a lovely church in Linby.
Games Workshop, the makers of fantasy game Warhammer, have released a 2017 Christmas song, and it features the boys doing the vocals. The tune is from ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’, but the lyrics are Games Workshop’s own.
Some of the boys also feature prominently on the video (not everyone could make the video recording session, though).
As of Friday evening (the 29th) it’s had over 93 000 views.
The choir had a fun trip to Clip ‘n Climb Nottingham on Wednesday, with the boys doing their best impression of mountain goats.
Congratulations to our Head Chorister Noah Boneham-Hill who has won our choir member of the year award. Noah was presented with the shield at our Christmas concert on Saturday (photos and videos of this concert will be coming soon).
Just a reminder that the Nottingham Boys Choir annual Christmas Concert is on tonight, starting at 7pm. Venue: St Paul’s Church, Mansfield Rd, Daybrook, Nottingham, NG5 6BH.
Tickets cost £5, or £2 for under-16s, and are available on the door.
Congratulations to our choir member Flynn Campbell who at the tender age of 9 has made it into the National Youth Boys Choir following a successful audition in November.
He’ll still be singing with the Nottingham Boys Choir as usual, though. (The NYCGB choir gets together for two residentials a year, which are finished off with concerts in great venues, and sometimes they do other concerts as well.)
A big congratulations to the boys for their fantastic performance at a private function last weekend.
Here’s the graphic for our Christmas concert 2017.
We’re having our annual Christmas concert on Saturday 16th December, starting at 7pm. The venue is St Paul’s Church, Mansfield Rd, Daybrook, Nottingham, NG5 6BH. (Up the road from our rehearsal venue, for those who know where that is.)
Tickets cost £5, or £2 for under-16s, and are available from our webpage or on the door.
This is the new webpage for the Nottingham Boys Choir, based on the design on the old one, but featuring new photos, recordings, and content. As it’s built on WordPress, we’ll be able to update it much more regularly.
